Today I completed my first day at the higher command element on base. I must say I hate being away from the boys. It appears already that I may be of some assistance as most of others I’m working with basically don’t know the overall plan and are inexperienced. I guess I might be of some benefit here. :-)

Second to last day with the Squadron 15 May 2013 On the 16th I’m set to be cut away to function as a liaison officer between the battle group and the rest of the exercise. I’m of mixed feelings, I’ll miss the Squadron but if my leaders feel I’ll best serve as a conduit between them and the exercise controllers, I’ll simply do my best.
